We got to enter the game through the players/coaches parking area. Each car was sniffed and looked over before entering the parking garage. We all got VIP wrist bands that allowed us to be in the tunnel area.
My cousin, Johnathon, getting his truck "patted down".
CJ Wilson's Porshe...WOW
Erik with the bomb sniffing dogs & security.
"The Tunnel"
World Series Trash! Erik was a little excited and got camera happy =)
We then went to the Cuervo Club and just walked around and took pictures of the field before heading to our seats.
Before the game started they announced the players and coaching staff. Here is my uncle coming out after being announced. He was also the Ranger's very first 3rd base coach and currently on his 5th stint with the Ranger's. He was with the Cinncinati Reds when they won the World Series in 1990. So in 53 years in the majors this is only his 2nd time to The Series!
Nolan Ryan threw out the first pitch to former catcher Pudge Rodriguez! His pitch was clocked at 80mph!
It was a great game and it ended with the Ranger's first WIN!!!
After the game family can go back down into the tunnel & players parking lot to wait for the players & coaches to come out. Erik had gone to the restroom just in time for Nolan Ryan to walk past me. So he missed that. I wasn't expecting hom so fast so I didn't have my camera ready. So I just got his back side.
But then Josh Hamilton came out!!! He started talking to my cousin Johnathon, who was drafted by the Ranger's this year, his friends and my brother Bryan. So of course Erik and I went up to him as well and talked and Erik got his picture taken with him!!! He was a really nice guy.
So that was our World Series experience! We had a GREAT time! GO RANGERS!!!
